AUSTRALIA. Adelaide Airport is inviting expressions of interest from food & beverage operators for eight outlets in the new terminal which opens in October 2005.
The eight tenancies in the A$260 million (US$188 million) terminal range in size from 28sq m to 211sq m.
Besides the F&B operations, the new facility will feature another 26 commercial outlets, according to the airport’s retail manager, Karen Gough.
Expressions of interest for three duty free shops, two foreign exchange outlets plus fashion, confectionery, gifts and souvenir and newsstand outlets will be sought later.
Gough told The Advertiser: “Adelaide will be the only Australian capital city terminal which serves all air travellers from the one building, providing a unique opportunity for retailers to concentrate their efforts in one location, while reaching all travellers through the airport.”
Expressions of interest will close on 23 July.
