SINGAPORE. Diamonds, jewellery and luxury watches retailer Gassan has reopened its refurbished boutique in Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1, introducing an upgraded luxury retail concept anchored by expanded brand partnerships and new branded shop-in-shops.
Gassan noted the redesign draws inspiration from its flagship boutiques in the Netherlands and at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, with the aim of delivering a consistent international brand identity.

The renovated multi-brand store features dedicated spaces for Tudor, Breitling, Chopard, Longines, TAG Heuer, Gigi by Gassan and Messika, as the retailer seeks to strengthen its premium positioning at the airport.
The opening also includes a new IWC Schaffhausen pop-up (pictured below) featuring travel retail-exclusive (TREX) novelties across the Portugieser, Pilot’s Watches, Portofino, Aquatimer and Ingenieur collections.

Other key highlights include an enhanced presence for Tudor, including the Black Bay and Pelagos collections, alongside the Singapore debut of Messika with Gassan in T1. The opening marks Messika’s second Changi point-of-sale following its launch with Gassan in Terminal 2.
Gassan Chief Commercial Officer David Bijlsma said: “The re-opening of our boutique in Terminal 1 marks an important milestone for Gassan Singapore. Having been present at Singapore Changi Airport for over 25 years, this renovation reflects our continued commitment to the location and its international travellers.

“The design is inspired by the success and distinctive identity of our boutiques in the Netherlands, bringing that same level of craftsmanship, luxury and recognisable Gassan experience to Singapore.
“We are proud to offer travellers an even more refined and inspiring environment, showcasing some of the world’s most prestigious brands.”
Gassan operates six stores at Changi Airport and 11 at Schiphol Airport, underlining the company’s long-term investment in the travel retail channel.
