Disney brings extra sparkle to Jewel’s Rain Vortex with a festive spectacle

The festive experience leverages storytelling from Disney, Pixar and Marvel, anchored by a new Light & Music Showcase at Jewel’s Rain Vortex, inspired by Disney Cruise Line.

The 3.5-minute The Magic of Adventure show introduces visitors to seven themed areas of the Disney Adventure, each represented by a glowing medallion, enhancing the passenger experience through innovative visual engagement.

A ship installation in Changi Airport T3 evokes the Disney Adventure’s sense of wonder and exploration

The festive journey continues in Terminal 3 Departure Hall with a 6.5-metre ship installation modelled after the Disney Adventure’s bow, featuring Captain Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie Mouse. Guests can capture memorable photos and have them printed on-site until 4 January 2026.

The service is available to visitors who spend a minimum of S$50 in Changi Airport’s public areas or S$60 in transit (arrival areas only), at Jewel, or via iShopChangi, in a single receipt at participating retail and F&B outlets.

Themed around Disney, Pixar and Marvel, the installation offers a standout photo spot

Guests can immerse themselves in four themed photo zones around the ship centerpiece, inspired by Disney, Pixar and Marvel. Highlights include Disney Imagination Garden with a storybook castle and Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey; Town Square, featuring Disney royals Snow White and Elsa, and Olaf’s dining room from Frozen; Marvel Landing, with Iron Man in a vibrant Stark-inspired design; and Captain Mickey’s cabin, adorned with festive keepsakes and photos of his friends.

T3 features complimentary Disney Cruise Line meet-and-greets (first-come, first-served) and daily snow shows. Across the terminals, visitors can explore topiaries of Baymax (Big Hero 6) in T1, and Duffy, ShellieMay and StellaLou in T2.

Themed activities

In T3 Basement 2, visitors can explore a multi-sensory underwater world inspired by Disney Adventure’s Disney Discovery Reef, featuring Ariel, Ursula (The Little Mermaid) and Dory (Finding Nemo). Guests can capture photos at ocean-themed installations and self-service booths.

DIY activities include decorating a Disney Cruise Line travel journal, or for a small fee, a canvas tote bag or ceramic mug, with an optional hot-press for personalised designs.

Guests spending S$50 (public areas) or S$60 (transit, Jewel, iShopChangi) in a single receipt at participating outlets can redeem one DIY activity by scanning their Changi Rewards Card.
