WALES, UK. Two travel retail-related causes converged poignantly in South Wales on Sunday (12 April) as Adrian Miller, husband of The Moodie Davitt Report’s late Chief Operating Officer Sinead Moodie, participated in the BRISCO Gorseinon 10k run organised by Morgan’s Army.
Morgan’s Army is Women in Travel Retail+’s official charity partner for 2026. It was successfully nominated by The Moodie Davitt Report Publisher Irene Revilla and Sinead Moodie before the latter’s passing this February.
Sinead conceived #KickCancerThon, the enormously successful ‘global + local’ travel retail campaign to raise funds and visibility for cancer research worldwide.

WiTR+ aims to raise €15,000 in 2026 to fund a structured monthly and bi-monthly sibling support programme. Thanks to the extreme generosity of early donors, including Qatar Duty Free (above), that target is already looking conservative.
The initiative is expected to benefit almost 500 children whose brother or sister is undergoing cancer treatment.
Adrian Miller joined hundreds of other runners and walkers in the BRISCO Gorseinon event held amid appalling weather. But the inclement conditions (°7c degrees and a hailstorm at the startline) failed to dampen the spirit of all those participating for such a good cause. ✈
*Both Adrian Miller and The Moodie Davitt Report Founder Martin Moodie (through WiTR+) have made substantial donations to Morgan’s Army. To know more about WiTR+ click here. To donate to Morgan’s Army via WiTR+,click here.
