SSP and The Breakfast Club reveal first rail station restaurant at St. Pancras International

UK. Travel restaurateur SSP Group and The Breakfast Club have joined forces to open the London high street brand’s first train station venue at St. Pancras International.

As reported, the partners opened their first venue together last summer in Gatwick Airport North Terminal. The second joint venture unit is located on the lower ground floor of the shopping arcade in St. Pancras International, which is the terminus for Eurostar services to Belgium, France and the Netherlands.

The Breakfast Club at St. Pancras International is one of more than 20 venues from the brand across London and the south of England, and the second in a travel environment

With an all-day dining and full bar offer, including the brand’s well-known breakfast menu, the 3,660sq ft foot restaurant has a capacity for up to 156 dine-in customers.

Menu highlights include the All American Breakfast and Grand Royale Benedict, as well as a twist on classic favourites, such as the Cheeseburger French Dip and Smashed Avo and Mojo Picon.

The venue has a train-travel inspired design and the space is complemented by a nostalgic, rollercoaster-style soundtrack to create what SSP described as “a lively and fun atmosphere”.

SSP UK & Ireland Kari Daniels said: “Opening The Breakfast Club at St. Pancras is a significant milestone for SSP. Not only is this our first rail location with this much-loved brand, but it’s in one of the capital’s biggest stations too.

The spacious new restaurant offers several seating options

“I’ve no doubt that this Breakfast Club café will be the best part of the journey for our customers travelling to or from London via St. Pancras.”

St. Pancras International and HS1 Commercial Director Wendy Spinks commented: “The Breakfast Club and St. Pancras are a match made in pancake heaven. We are thrilled to house their first railway station restaurant and believe their all-day dining concept will add a delicious option for those travelling through the station at any time.

“The Breakfast Club is the perfect addition to the diverse collection of brands we have curated for our visitors.” ‍
