SINGAPORE. The Tax Free World Association (TFWA) has underlined the strong representation from many retailers, brands, landlords and airport companies at the upcoming TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference in Singapore on 12-16 May.
The association noted the return of Chinese retailers and airport companies amid the continued post-pandemic recovery in the region.
Key visitors attending the event will include global and regional duty-free distributors across different product categories.

TFWA is encouraging its members to contact its team (commercial@tfwa.com) if they have not yet secured their stand at the Singapore event.
As reported, this year marks the first time that the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition will open on the same day as the conference, with delegates having access to the exhibition from 2.30pm on 13 May.

The much-anticipated event in the travel retail community will see an updated conference programme, including conference sessions and networking opportunities. The full agenda is available on this website.
TFWA is inviting members to register for the upcoming Singapore Preview webinar on 10 April for an exclusive introduction to the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference.

The event will also feature the FWA ONE2ONE personalised meeting service, a platform for formal meetings between eligible exhibitors, retailers, landlords, agents and distributors, with onsite facilities available from Monday to Thursday.
In addition, the conference will feature two workshops including the ‘China Watch’ to be held from 8am to 9am on 14 May. The session, in partnership with Xiaohongshu, will focus on the latest developments and opportunities in the region, current digital trends and the consumption behaviour of Chinese travellers.
Among the speakers at this session are Sino-Singapore Chongqing Airport Commercial Management General Manager Ma Yan; China Duty Free Group Senior Vice President of Brand and Marketing Matt Liao; and Little Red Book General Manager of Global Travel Retail, Luxury Jewelry and Fashion Accessories Business Group Keith Chen.

The second workshop, ‘Decoding Today’s Dwell Time’, is scheduled for 8am to 9am on 15 May. Speakers for this session include Pi Insight Managing Director Stephen Hillam, who will be sharing the latest data on Asian shoppers from their Global Shopper Series; and Kearney Senior Partner Siddharth Pathak, who will present the latest findings on the factors that keep customers engaged. The session will be moderated by TFWA Conference Director Michele Miranda.
